As An Arts Educator...
I hold a B.F.A. in Music Theater and provide educational workshops and corporate training emphasizing the importance of art, theatre, voice, story-telling, and physical movement.
I have experience with one-day and multi-day workshops for students from kindergarten through high school.
I have provided workplace training in the areas of presentation and group work/team work.
As A Director...
I am a three-time ARTIE Award-winning director. The ARTIE Awards are Buffalo, NY's version of the Tony Awards. I was awarded for my direction of FLOYD COLLINS, BLOODY BLOODY ANDREW JACKSON, and URINETOWN THE MUSICAL.
I was also awarded an Outstanding Direction certificate by the Theater Alliance of New York State (TANYS) for my direction of FIDDLER ON THE ROOF.
I have directed productions for American Repertory Theatre of WNY, Subversive Theatre Collective, O'Connell & Co., and Theatre In The Mist, and acted as Assistant to the Director at the Irish Classical Theatre Co.
As A Stage Actor...
I have been nominated for an ARTIE Award five times: twice for Leading Actor in a Musical (Frank-N-Furter, THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW, Officer Lockstock in URINETOWN), twice for Supporting Actor in a Musical (Warden, HELL HOLE HONEYS, and Miles Gloriosus, A FUNNY THING...FORUM), and once for Supporting Actor in a Play (Marco, A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE).
I have performed in Buffalo, NY in productions and staged readings with MusicalFare Theatre, American Repertory Theatre of WNY, Subversive Theatre, Irish Classical Theatre Co., Kavinoky Theatre, Alleyway Theatre, O'Connoll & Co., Theatre of Youth, New ALT Performance Group, Theatre Jugend, Jewish Repertory Theatre, Road Less Traveled Productions, Shakespeare In Delaware Park, New Phoenix Theatre, ArtPark, Alemaedae Theater, Buffalo Opera Unlimited, and the Lancaster Opera House.
In NYC, I was an actor and puppeteer with Perchance To Dream Theatre.
As A Film Actor...
I have appeared in several film and web projects, all produced and filed in Buffalo, NY, as a performer and voice-over artist.
I have appeared in corporate training videos produced for use in New York State.
As A Writer...
I am a writer of short fiction and one-act plays.
My play, "Midnight Death, Interview With Danger: The Adventures of Copper Peterson, Private Dick" was presented at the 2010 Buffalo Infringement Festival.
I developed, wrote, organized, and performed in a companion theatrical story-line for the Irish Classical Theatre Co.'s 2010 fundraiser, The Wake, A Party To Die For.
